Sare jahan se accha, Hindustan hamara… 🙂 So finally the day is here, today is 26th January 2015 and it’s 67th Republic Day of India! 🙂 …It is the day on which the Indian Constitution came into force. Today is the day when everyone Old, Young, Tall, Short, Light skin or Dark skin must come together to show the whole world that this Nation is the Best Nation under the Sun!!!! 🙂

Today we are celebrating our 67th Republic day. I’ve grown up watching Republic Day Parade on television, I always love it but it was even more important today because today we have Mr. Barack Obama (President of United States) as our chief guest of honor. 😀 It’s such an honor to have Mr. & Mrs. Obama here in my country on this beautiful & very special day. I just loved today’s Parade, Jhaanki, and all the stuff. 😀 🙂
But but but……aaj subha se hi, I am missing my school days 😦 …when I used to celebrate this day with zeal. “Sach…bachpan ke din bahot khubsurat the!” 🙂
On this day every educational institutions invite children to join the celebration including flag hoisting, singing national anthem, desh bhakti songs and etc. Oh I miss my school days! 😦
Well, a very Happy Republic Day once again 🙂 I had a lovely day today, I enjoyed a lot with my family and friend…So yeah, I am happy 😀 …. Today is National Girl Child Day in India. Its time to end female foeticide and keep Indian Girls alive… National Girl Child Day is about a dream of possibility to raise public awareness against female children in India. Please Save the Girl Child, Don’t kill Her.
It is a shame that people want a girlfriend, wife and mother but don’t want a girl child. I don’t understand why they would kill a girl child? 😦 This question has always been in my head. It is only a woman who gives birth to a male child. And some women are instrumental too in killing the girl child. If a woman does this, how we expect a man to act otherwise???? So I wish this does not happen.
Please please pleaseeee please save the girl child. They are the one who makes you reach cloud nine. I read somewhere, Girl child is not equal to “TENSION” Even she is equal to “TEN SONS” 🙂 ….Really, girls are Angels, They are the precious Gift of god…Respect her, Love her! 🙂
Hey my Friends 🙂 Hope you all are good! 🙂 I just finished this beautiful book “Because Life is a Gift” by Disha Chhabra 🙂 This is the 2nd book of Disha, her first book was “My Beloved’s MBA Plans” ….When I first saw this book on Flipkart, I saw the title and I just smiled. 🙂 The title really says everything “Life is a Gift”. So I just ordered it on Flipkart and got it in next few days, then I began to read it. 🙂
Because Life is a Gift written by Disha is real-life success stories of fifteen differently-abled people, it is a tribute to their courage, passion and zest for life of men and women. They are all different but with a single common thing that is the love of life. 🙂 They will challenge your notion of the impossible. They will inspire you to live life to the fullest, because life is truly a gift. The book is not just about the people but it’s all about the Life. 🙂
Really, It is one of the best books I’ve ever read. 🙂 I loved the book because it has stories that inspire. All the 15 stories are very inspirational….I would say, its not just a book, it’s a journey. The people in this book are simply Amazing. They had different abilities, they used it and succeeded. Guys, I would not say much about this book because I really feel you should read this book to understand what the lives of these people are all about and what the author is trying to say…and if the stories of these people touch your heart then write an email to them, because the best part of this book is in this book Disha has given e-mail IDs of all the people towards the end of each chapter which I feel was an great thought. 🙂
The words of this book are emotional but inspiring and motivating. You can read this book in just one sitting. Its a very well written book, it’ll definitely inspire you. I loved the writing skills of Disha. She is an amazing writer. 🙂 I want to salute her and thank her for writing such a book. 🙂 It completely changes the way of how you look differently-abled people…whenever we see such people, we feel sympathy for them….but we should understand that they don’t want our sympathy, they just want love and encouragement. I don’t think sympathy is the right word. Many people with disabilities don’t want people to have pity for them. They just want some respect and love and we should respect them, we should love them, that’s all. 🙂
All in all I would say it is a beautiful book, It is truly inspirational and everyone should read it. 🙂 Disha is a fab writer and I am already looking forward to her next book! 😀 🙂

Okay today I draw a sketch 😛 yes, actually I got bored so I decided to draw something, so this is my first pencil sketch and I am quite happy with it! 😛
I know its not perfect, maybe its too bad but I am happy with it 😀 afterall it is my 1st sketch yaar 😛 😀 I read somewhere “It’s not about creating perfect pages, it’s about having fun and enjoying the process.” 🙂

I saw this pic some days ago….it is too deep, isn’t it??? Sometimes you just have to smile and pretend everything’s okay! …In life we meet lots of people who appear all happy and smiling, but the fact is we don’t know the reality behind those smiles. Happiness and smile can be a lie, just to make ourselves feel better or to make others fool.
So, don’t go by smile people wear everyday. We don’t know their pain, their reality, their story. 🙂
A Woman was admitted in a hospital as she was suffering from Brain Tumor. Her son & relatives were around her. She died within a few Hours.
Her son cried the whole day & became ill. He returned home the next day & found a letter on the table besides his mothers bed. Surprisingly it also had a few tablets.
His hands trembled as he read the letter…….
“TAKE THESE TABLETS DEAR, I know you catch a cold easily after crying….LOVE MUM”
No matter in what condition mothers are… they always care about their children. 🙂
