Happy Navratri everyone! This Navratri may you be blessed by Durga Maa with good fortune, joys, happiness, wealth and prosperity. 🙂

Yay! Finally festive season is here *Big Smile* I love Navratri since my childhood 😀 It finally starts the festivals in India. For all those who are new to this concept, Navaratri or the nine nights in translation, is a very important time in Hindu tradition. The Mother Goddess comes and blesses everyone, and even shares Her shakti (power) with one. During Navratri the mother goddess is said to appear in 9 forms, and each one is worshipped for a day. These nine forms signify various traits that the goddess influences. The 10th day is commonly referred to as “Vijayadashami” or “Dussehra” It is one of the most important Hindu festivals and is celebrated which means the victory of good over evil..

The word Navratri literally means nine nights in Sanskrit, “Nava” meaning nine and “Ratri” meaning nights. Hence ‘Navratri’ is celebrating the nine nights and worshipping the deity Maa Durga. In these beautiful evenings boys and girls performed a religious dance (Garba/ Dandiya) that are widely performed to worship Goddess Durga Maa.

Today is the 2nd night of this beautiful & my favourite festival. Really I am so happy and very excited!!! 🙂

Be happy friends & Enjoy…May Maa Durga bless you with happiness all the year through…. Subh Navratri !!! 🙂

Mars Mission Successful !!! :)

India created history on Wednesday 24 September 2014. 🙂 India is now the first country to succeed at a Mars Mission in the first attempt & cheapest cost. As the Mars Mission (nicknamed- “ Mangalyaan” ) entered the Mars orbit, making India the first country in the world to make it to the Red Plant in the first attempt. The success of the Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) will boost India’s five-decade-old space programme. On this great historic occasion Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated ISRO’s scientists!

Modi said:- “History has been created, we have dared to reach out to the unknown. India has created history today, We have reached which was nearly impossible. If our cricket team wins 1 tournament country celebrates. This mission is thousand times bigger achievement. this day must be celebrated as ‘Anand Utsav’.”

“Proud of Indian scientists, ISRO has done a remarkable job with Mangalyaan, Mars has got a MOM today, always knew MOM will not let us down.” He added.

My Words:- Today is the great great day. It is really a proud and memorable moment for all Indians. I am really so happy, my Country is the first country in the world to put a satellite into Mars orbit on its maiden voyage, Congratulations Team ISRO 🙂 Today, I am so proud to be an Indian & proud of our space scientists. It is truly a emotional & proud day for ISRO & all Indians. Today is the day will be written in golden letters !!! 🙂

Book Review:- I Too Had A Love Story by Ravinder Singh

I Too Had A Love Story By Ravinder Singh

Hey Guys! 🙂 Just completed reading this book ” I too had a love story- Ravinder Singh” …One of the most fantastic and heart touching books that i’ve ever came across. I was literally getting goosebumps…It is damn touching. The book is based on author’s true tragic love story. The story starts with the reunion of 4 friends (Ravin and his three Best friends “Happy, Amardeep and Manpreet” ) they discussed about their marriage plans. After returning from his reunion, Ravin registered in shaadi.com and where he meets Khushi and there their love story starts. They madly fall in love and commit to marry each other. But after some time when their engagement is fixed on Feb 14, Kushi met with an accident and she died. 😦
When I gone through this story I was completely lost in the world of true love. This novel gives us a message that true love, its feelings & the emotions never dies, they will always be present deep in your heart and you’ll always feel the same for your loved ones. All the feelings and emotions so well described. I was literally crying at the end when Ravin said ” She died, I survived and because I survived I die daily….” I don’t know why but I cried a lottttt. 😦
Really it is a beautiful, tragic, simple and true story. Ravinder portrays his emotions and feelings so beautifully. The story is full of touching, it has just touched my heart deeply although i never read books this is the 2nd book I think I am reading and truely speaking I found it to be very touchy, lots of happiness, sadness and much more….JUST LOVED IT. 🙂 Overall I would say it is a wonderful book, a masterpiece of Ravinder Singh!!!! 🙂
